Susan Gibb

B.S. (Elementary Education) – Montana State University

Ms. Gibb arrived at Montana State University in March 2002 to work as a Program Assistant in the Lewis & Clark Region Troops-to-Teachers program. After graduation from MSU Ms. Gibb taught English and history for three years at Sumner Junior High School in the Puget Sound area. She then earned her commission at Officers Training School and spent the next 20 years as an officer in the United States Air Force, where she worked as a transportation officer around the world. Upon retirement Ms. Gibb returned to her home state and worked at The University of Montana in Missoula before coming back to her alma mater. She believes that former military personnel make outstanding school teachers and enjoys encouraging people to consider education as a second career.

Ms. Gibb appreciates living back in her beloved Montana and volunteers with several organizations. She also enjoys reading, visiting family, and traveling.
