Country Classic Dairies, Inc., or better known as Darigold, is a dairy cooperative headquartered in Bozeman, Montana. Darigold was founded in 1932 to help area milk producers in a time when marketing conditions and milk prices were very poor. Today, Darigold buys all of its raw milk from Montana producers, and is the only dairy facility to receive a 100% Sanitation Enforcement. Darigold only buys hormone free milk and has very strict policies to enforce that this is upheld. Some of Darigold’s goals include to increase dollar return to members, expand marketing, incorporate environmental regulations that are feasible to increase quality while maintaining profits, as well as promoting the dairy industry as a whole and upgrading facilities to keep up with an ever-changing world.
