Telephone System Upgrade
November 2018: MSU begins migration of the current telephone system to a new Cisco VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) system. Migration will be done one building at a time, most taking place in 2019. See Unified Communications Project (VoIP) for details.
If your phone model is:
- Nortel or Avaya - continue to use Avaya Voicemail Login
- Cisco - use Cisco Voicemail Login (button at right) or visit Cisco Voicemail instructions.
Avaya Aura Messaging is MSU's voicemail system for faculty and staff. The voicemail system can be accessed via phone or web. To learn more view the new mailbox setup information for instructions on accessing your voicemail and the web messaging instructions.
To request a voicemail account complete the Telephone and Network Service Request Form.

See caller ID and listen to messages on your computer in the desktop versions of Outlook and Mac Mail.

Avaya Web Message Access
(on campus or using VPN access)
Access, listen and manage your voicemail through a supported web browser.
