Getting Closer with the Submission of your Application Materials
Based upon the application you are completing, be sure to include all of the required information and submit the requested number of copies. Submit your application to the:
Undergraduate Scholars Program
  Steven Holmgren, Director
  Montana State University
  418 Reid Hall, Bozeman, MT 59717-3000
 
Evaluation Criteria
After your application materials have been received, your proposal will be judged based upon the following criteria:
Project originality and significance
Project feasibility
Your capabilities, preparation, and successful completion of appropriate coursework
Quality of the written proposal in terms of organization, spelling, and grammar
 
Receive Notification
You will receive an email, phone call, or letter concerning the acceptance or non-acceptance of your application.
 
If your application was accepted:
Make arrangements as soon as possible to meet with the USP Program Coordinator in Reid 418.
After you meet with the USP Program Coordinator, you will receive your stipend at the next payroll distribution date.
 
If your application was not accepted:
Make arrangements to discuss any problems and additional ideas regarding your proposal and application with the USP Director, Steven Holmgren.
You may revise and resubmit your application.
