| Evaluation Criteria |
| After your application materials have been received, your proposal will be judged based upon the following criteria: |

Project originality and significance |
 |
Project feasibility |
 |
Your capabilities, preparation, and successful completion of appropriate coursework |
 |
Quality of the written proposal in terms of organization, spelling, and grammar |

| Receive Notification |
| You will receive an email, phone call, or letter concerning the acceptance or non-acceptance of your application. |
| |
| If your application was accepted: |
 |
Make arrangements as soon as possible to meet with the USP Program Coordinator in Reid 418. |
 |
After you meet with the USP Program Coordinator, you will receive your stipend at the next payroll distribution date. |

| If your application was not accepted: |
 |
Make arrangements to discuss any problems and additional ideas regarding your proposal and application with the USP Director, Steven Holmgren. |

You may revise and resubmit your application. |
