The Montana University System is hosting an undergraduate poster session in Helena during the 2009 Legislative Session. The President's Office and the Undergraduate Scholars Program invite you to apply for this opportunity to showcase your research at a poster session in the capitol rotunda on Tuesday, April 7, 2009. In addition to presenting their work students will also have the chance to visit committee hearings, observe floor activities in the House and Senate and to meet various elected officials.

Eligibility
All undergraduate students at Montana State University who are engaged in a project involving research and/or creative acitivities. (You do not have to be part of USP in order to participate.)
Since the goal of this event is to connect MSU students with state officials we will give preference to residents of the state of Montana.
We would like to encourage groups of students who are working on a project or related projects to present a poster together.
Submit the completed application by Monday, March 9 at 5:00 pm to Scarlet Reierson in 418 Reid Hall (scarlet.reierson@montana.edu).
Note: A group of students working on the same or related projects can submit one application. In this case be sure to include the names and hometowns of all students who will be presenting the poster.
If your project is selected for presentation we will inform you as soon as possible. Shortly before our trip to Helena we will have an orientation meeting to discuss our expectations and suggestions on how to prepare for this event.
