Metabolic Syndrome Program

Metabolic Syndrome is rapidly becoming one of the nation's most expensive health conditions consisting of abnormalities that place individuals at risk for developing many diseases including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, dementia, and some cancers. Risk can be reduced with diet and exercise.

You have the syndrome if you have any three (3) of the five (5) risk factors listed below:

1) Triglycerides: 149 or higher

2) Blood Pressure: 129/84 or higher

3) Fasting Glucose: 100-125

4) HDL: Men: 40 or lower; Women 50 or lower

5) Abdominal Fat: Men: 40 inches or larger; Women: 35 inches or larger (Measure your waist just above the belly button using a cloth measuring tape.)

If you do not know if you have these risk factors, attend a WellCheck where you can have a blood chemistry screening and blood pressure check.

The program provides participants with a FREE individualized diet and exercise program, along with group and one-on-one follow up phone consultations. Participants who meet minimum participation requirements will receive a FREE follow up Chemistry Screening. The value of the program is estimated at $1,500 in professional services.
