Blood Pressure

Blood pressure is the force of blood against the walls of the arteries. Blood pressure will rise and fall throughout the day, but when it stays elevated over time, it is called high blood pressure (hypertension).

There are no early warning signs of high blood pressure, so it is important to have your blood pressure measured at least every two years.

If you would like a one-time reading or need to have your blood pressure monitored on a regular basis, the wellness office can provide this service for you. Screenings are available by appointment or drop-in. Call Jenny at 683-7441 or stop by the office for more information.
