Jerry Sheehan MSU Wi-Fi Buildout

MSU knows students and their mobile devices are inseparable in today's technologically connected world. To meet the demands of the increasing numbers of mobile users, MSU began making wireless upgrades across campus in the Fall term of 2012.

The buildout's current focus is to increase coverage in high student use areas such as classrooms, labs, residence halls, and family and graduate housing. This phase of the upgrade has been made possible in part through generous support from the Office of the Provost. The buildout will continue upgrading existing infrastructure as well as increasing coverage across campus as funds are available.
