Plant Bioscience Building Room 108

Katherine Batchelder is a social science project manager for Research Triangle Institute (RTI) International currently focusing on education in developing countries. The seminar will focus on how theory and practice can teach us the tools we need to know to implement research, but the constraints of reality dictate so much of what actually happens. Looking at examples of education research from a few countries, we will see how flexibility is one of the most important characteristics of international social science research.

Refreshments will be served before the seminar at 10:45 am

Lunch for WISE members to follow in Animal Bioscience Building Room 145
