Proposed Revision to 705.2 - Performance Evaluation; Presidents
Board policy:
1. An evaluation of the performance of each
president within the Montana University System shall be conducted annually in
accordance with these procedures.
Procedures:
1. In the spring of each year in open
session each President will review with the Regents and Commissioner
institutional activities during the past year and also institutional goals and
objectives for the coming year.
2. The Regents and Commissioner will review
with each President his personal performance during the past year and indicate
any specific matters they wished to have addressed during the coming year. This portion of the review may be in
executive session if requested by the President.
3. In executive session each President will
review with the Regents and Commissioner the performance of upper-level
administrators (i.e. those persons whose positions appear on the
Administrative Salary Scale) during the past year and salary
adjustments which will be proposed for the coming year.
