Below is a statement about the Writing Center that you can copy and paste into your current syllabus or add to your D2L site:
Most universities have a writing center, a place for students to talk about their writing. The Writing Center here at MSU is a resource I encourage you to use. As a writer you will want to seek feedback from many different readers. The writing consultants provide free tutoring to help in developing and organizing your writing. They are able to talk with you about your writing and will work with you on any project, at any stage of your writing. You can make an appointment by, phone or you can drop in whenever they are open. I urge you to visit the web site for more information.
