Montana State University
Women in Science & Engineering (WISE)
Graduate Student Group

Welcome!

We are officially a student group at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. Our group was re-born in 2010 after many years without an active WISE graduate student group. We decided to revive this group because we felt that women pursuing careers in the sciences and engineering still face many obstacles not faced by men in these fields. This venue allows us to discuss the challenges we face and expect to face in the future AND to support each other and future women in these fields. We strongly believe that women should be the first and the loudest advocates for equality in the science and engineering professions. This website is one of our methods of advocating for ourselves and other women.

We support women graduate students in sciences, social sciences, math and engineering. Specifically, we provide professional and social development opportunities by creating a support system and an active dialogue focusing on issues unique to women in science. We welcome you to attend any of the WISE events at MSU-Bozeman.
