Division Planning

The Division planning function of the organization facilitates creation and tracking of initiatives, including key business strategies, goals, objectives and tasks. These initiatives help ensure that Administration & Finance can manage, deliver and enhance administrative, financial and facilities-related services that enable the University to meet its mission. The initiatives are also mapped to larger University goals via participation in the University Strategic Planning Committee.
Project management tools are used to support the planning process and to facilitate Departmental ability to manage projects using elements from the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) from the Project Management Institute. Additionally, information technology is used to effectively track, communicate and manage Division goals. The Planning function also provides continued oversight of Business Process Review (BPR) project implementation and continued emphasis on business process improvement.
