The Banner Central organization provides leadership-- in partnership with ITC ASG and stakeholders-- in maintaining, increasing, or expanding the SungardHE Banner functionality of the Human Resources and Finance modules across the 4-campus system. The organization provides expertise in project management, facilitating testing and implementation of Banner functionality and facilitating testing and implementation of 3rd party software that interacts with Banner. The organization also participates in University information technology governance, setting strategic and tactical goals for the Enterprise Information System, training users, providing data analysis and reporting capability for stakeholders, and performing a liaison role among key stakeholders and IT infrastructure staff.
Staff within Banner Central provide Banner Finance and Human Resource module security by role provisioning, role changes, and role deprovisioning according to stakeholder job duties and access needs.
