- “I
keep really busy with school and when I do go out I make sure that I can
have fun without drinking and if I do decide to drink, I try to make sure that
it’s in moderation. Let’s face it, having a hang over is not the most fun
thing in the world.”
- “One
thing I can do to encourage others not to drink is to become the
designated driver. Think of how many people you know that you’ve lost to a
drunk driver or in a druken car crash. We all have different friends for
different reasons. If you’re too tempted to hang around your friends that
drink, find friends that don’t drink or don’t drink that often. Drinking
gets old. Even by the time you’re 21, it gets boring. Save the money and
do something really crazy like go skydiving or go up in the mountains or
do something that you’ve never done before. Be crazy without alcohol. You
don’t need alcohol as an excuse to have fun and be wild.”
