SOURCES OF ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The Animal Resources Center maintains many references, consisting of texts, journals and videotapes on various topics relating to the use of animals in biomedical research. The general topics covered include normative and experimental biology, research applications, genetics, surgery, anesthesia, animal models, immunodeficient animals, and research methodology on the various animal species.

Videotapes (VHS) may be viewed in Room 103 of the Animal Resources Center or may be checked out overnight for viewing. Text references may be reviewed in the office of the Animal Resources Center or checked out through the ARC secretary on a short-term basis.
