Position Title: Campus Entertainment Associate
Description:The Campus Entertainment Associate is tasked with assisting the ASMSU Campus Entertainment Director and is responsible for aiding the Campus Entertainment director in booking entertainers to perform on the MSU campus and at community events that MSU students attend. The Entertainment Associate advertises and promotes these events. The position secures venues, and arranges contract services for its events and is also charged with broadening the horizons of the students of MSU by bringing lively arts, lectures, and comedy events to campus.
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail is an important part of these roles
Hours per Week: 10
Pay: $8/hr
Length of Employment: Fall 2013-Spring 2014
Position Title: Productions Associate
Description:The Productions Associate will assist the Productions Director in the set up, execution, and tear down of lights and sound equipment at ASMSU, Club and other department events. This position will take part in the set up planning as well as learn more about event design and production. Hours worked will vary from daytime to evening shows. Must have working knowledge of audio and lighting equipment, be able to lift 50lbs, have a flexible schedule including some nights, know electrical safety, work independently as well as part of a team and have a passion for behind the scenes technology.
Previous experience is preferred but not required.
Hours per month: 10-20
Pay: $8.5/hr

Position Title: State Legislative Director
Description: The State Legislative Director serves as a liaison for the MSU student body to local governing bodies and the state legislature and state governmental offices. The State Legislative Director creatively utilizes programming and events to promote civic engagement, inform MSU’s student constituency, and to affect local legislation relevant to the MSU student body. The State Legislative serves as the ASMSU Student Lobbyist during legislative years.
Hours per Week: An average of 10 hours per week during years when the State Legislature is not in session. An average of 40 hours per week in Helena during years when the State Legislature is in session.
Pay: $2,800 for years when the State Legislature is not in session/Lobbyist Stipend in odd years when the State Legislature is in session.
Length of Employment: This is a two year position and all applicants should have two years left in order to apply for the position.
