Hello Everyone,
My name is Kiah Abbey and I’m your current ASMSU President. I have a passion for creating inclusive communities that allow a person of any age, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, ability status, and socio economic level to succeed. This passion has led me to be involved in organizations like the Network of Environmentally Conscious Organizations, Sustained Dialogue and the Leadership Institute. All of which enable students on our campus to identify themselves as part of the community as well as be involved in the MSU community. I hope that during your time at Montana State University you find classes, organizations, and friendships that help you engage the community and develop your own passions.
As your student body president, I hope to not only serve as the voice of the student body but also serve as a connector. If you have any ideas that would help make our campus an even better place please stop by my office, located in the SUB next to the AskUs desk, or shoot me an email at asmsupres@montana.edu. I want to help your ideas be realized in any way I can.
The Bozeman community offers an incredible amount of opportunities to engage be them physical, mental, or spiritual. I encourage you to get up into the mountains, eat at the great restaurants downtown, attend football games, run for senate and engage in the many community events that happen throughout the year. There are seemingly limitless experiences to be had here so please adventure and make some memories!
Get out there Cats!
Best,
Kiah Abbey
ASMSU Student Body President
