The purpose of this Website is to familiarize you with the role of the Internal Audit Department, to explain how you can use its services, and to provide you resources to enhance the performance of your campus, division, or department at Montana State University.
The mission of the Internal Audit Department is to provide independent, objective assurance (audit) and consulting services designed to add value and improve the operations of Montana State University. It helps the University accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes.
