COREQUISITE: Freshman or sophomore standing and consent of instructor.
-- Intended for lower division undergraduate research and creative
projects undertaken in an interdisciplinary team format. The
student will work closely with students and faculty colleagues
seeking creative project solutions while exploring innovative
methods of collaborative problem solving. Course will address
responsible conduct of research.

CAA 310IA HISTORY OF FILM MUSIC

PREREQUISITE: Junior standing or permission of instructor.
-- A composer and director trace the development of film music.
Key concepts in the development of the film soundtrack will
be examined. Various musical styles, as well as technological
developments applicable to soundtrack/music production, will
be studied.

CAA 501 INTRODUCTION TO DIGITAL MEDIA
F 4 cr. STU
-- This course provides an introduction to the creation, management
and uses of digital media with a focus on publishing web based
creative work. Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop in conjunction
with Digital Photography will be applied to personalized media
environments.
