Entomology Minor
The Department of Entomology at Montana State University is the center for entomological research, education, and outreach activities in Montana. The department offers an undergraduate Entomology minor (non-teaching) in addition to our graduate program. The purpose of the entomology minor is to provide students majoring in various areas of the agricultural and biological sciences with a discrete set of courses emphasizing the important discipline of entomology. The minor has been designed to serve the needs of students within both the College of Agriculture, (Animal Science, Biotechnology, Horticulture, Land Resources, Plant Science, and Range Science) and the College of Letters and Science (Biology and Microbiology). In addition to the minor, the department offers students an opportunity to undertake undergraduate research projects, internship, special topics and undergraduate creative activity projects with individual faculty.
