Eligibility for Services

SUMMER SCHOOL:
Students (whether pre- or post-graduate) must be registered (one credit minimum) for at least one summer session. Eligibility cannot be obtained through payment of the SHS fee for summer.

FALL AND SPRING SEMESTERS:

  1. All undergraduate students who are enrolled for 6 credits or more are eligible to use this facility at no charge.
    All enrolled, undergraduate students (regardless of number of credits) who have paid the Student Health Service medical fee.

  2. Graduate students actively pursuing a degree or certification are eligible to use the facility with no charge.

  3. Spouses covered by the Student Health Service medical fee are eligible for individual counseling services. Live-in partners/spouses of students residing in Family & Graduate Housing may attend free of charge without payment of the Student Health Service Medical Fee Spouses not covered by the medical fee or residential status, and other family members, are eligible only in conjunction with the student - example: couple's counseling.

  4. Staff and Faculty members and their spouses are eligible but, after the intake session, are required to pay a fee. These fees may change from year to year. Family members (other than spouses) of staff and faculty are eligible only in conjunction with the staff and faculty member. (Please see Services for Faculty and Staff for further information).

  5. All other persons are ineligible and, unfortunately, there is no facility for them to pay a fee for services.
