IAQ Building Science & Home OverviewThe issue is important because most people spend almost 90% of their time indoors. Other people, such as the elderly and infirm, may even spend close to all of their time indoors. The matter is serious when you consider that toxin levels in indoor air can be higher than what is permitted by federal regulations in outdoor air.
