How to sign up for an exam at MSU:

Use the right hand navigation bar to find the exam along with dates and times. Then, make an appointment to take the exam. If you do not see the exam you are interested in, contact us.

IDENTIFICATION: 2 forms of ID are necessary to take exams. One must be a signed photo ID.

ACCEPTABLE ID's: Social Security Card, Driver's License, State Identification Card, Military Identification Card, Passport, Green Card

The Montana State University Testing Service provides a wide range of academic and professional exams to students and the public. msu

Our certified testing staff is committed to our mission of providing professional and helpful support in helping meet student’s educational and professional goals. Our secure and convenient testing environment is located in 243 Reid Hall on the west side of the Renne Library.

Since testing registration and requirements vary by type of test, please contact us with specific questions.

During Spring semester 2013, MSU Testing Services is open from Monday through Friday for testing appointments, available 8:30 a.m. to 5:0 p.m. with some select Saturdays. Testing appointments do not begin until 8:30 a.m. All testing is by appointment only (NO WALK-INS PLEASE). Please call (406) 994-6984 or email msutestingservice@montana.edu.

Fees vary based on type of exam. We are open during the lunch hour.
