Profile
Hello!
I teach Children's Literature and Young Adult Literature courses. An exciting extension of these courses is the British Children's and Young Adult Literature course that is taught on site in and around London. My focus in the literature is social justice issues and critical literacy. Exploring multiple perspectives and giving voice to marginalized characters enriches the reading and allows readers to connect with the text through personal insights.
In my life away from the university, I find running, hiking, cross-country skiing, and backpacking renewing and energizing. Bozeman is the perfect place for these activities.
