All
students who complete teaching, counseling, or administrative programs
at Montana State University will receive their Montana licenses through
a recommendation process that originates with the Licensure Officer
in the Field Placement and Licensure Office. The process for teachers
begins during the post-student teaching seminars when the Licensure Officer appears in their Professional Issues class. The paperwork will
be completed during that last week on campus. An administrative or
counseling candidate should stop by 247 Reid Hall and talk to the Licensure Officer as soon as he/she decides to complete a program.
All students who complete teaching, counseling, or administrative programs
and want to be licensed in other states need to contact the licensure
office in the capital city of that state and request a licensure
application or packet. Addresses and telephone numbers of certification
offices in other states are available in the Field Placement and Licensure
Office. |
