Schedules and Calendars

Room Reservations and Scheduling Procedures:
The following rooms in Reid Hall are scheduled by the Department of Education. If you wish to reserve a room please email Room Reservations. Click below to view the current schedule for each room.

Please Note

All requests for room reservations made by other departments, programs, faculty or organizations must be emailed to Room Reservations. Requests then will be forwarded to the Department of Education program leaders for approval.

Courses offered by the Department of Education and meetings conducted by the Department of Education have priority status for scheduling these rooms. These rooms may be available to other departments, programs, faculty and organizations upon request.

Media Services A/V Check Out Schedule

If you are associated with the College of Education Health and Human Development and you wish to reserve A/V equipment,
please send an email to Jim Vernon.

Please make sure to include the following details in your email reservation request:

Type of equipment (e.g. digital still camera, digital video camera, laptop)
Date and times for which you would like to reserve the equipment

Below is a list of available equipment accompanied by a photo of the item and possible accessories.

Digital Video Camera

The department has 8 digital video cameras that store approximately 2 hours of video digitally in camera. Each comes with their own carrying case. The footage can be edited for presentation on free Mac or Windows software.

conference microphone

Digital Microphone and Web Camera

This digital microphone and web camera are for use with Skype, Yahoo Messenger, Google Chat, Webex. and other video conferencing programs. Still photos can be taken with the camera in addition to video. The mic dramatically improves voice quality on conference calls and has a standard jack for headphones or speakers

Laminator

The department has a high volume laminator that will laminate up to 46” wide and any length. Lamination can be used to preserve photos, ID badges, documents, maps, posters, or any other paper/card product to be used for extended periods. Lamination leaves your material with a glossy waterproof surface that will last for a long long time.

Conference Telephone

The department has a conference telephone that can be used in any room with a telephone outlet. The telephone has two external microphones and works well in an average sized classroom.

Computer Speakers

The department has several sets of small computer speakers handy for Skype sessions and listening to audio presentations.
