How to apply for graduation

For students graduating in the Spring or Summer, this form must be filed with the Registrar's Office by the last semester day of the preceding SpringSemester. Students graduating in the Fall must have this form filed with the Registrar's Office by the last semester day of the preceding Fall Semester.Former students, who are graduating the semester of their return, must submit this form by the 15th semester day.

1. Set up an appointment with your advisor:
 Jen or Cyndi if you are completing paperwork for Elementary Education or General Science or Social Studies Broadfield
Scott Davis if you are completing paperwork for Technology Education
 Primary Advisor (from your Major department) if you studying a major in the K-12 or 5-12 content areas listed below.

2. Complete the Application for Baccalaureate (please type) through the following link: .http://www.montana.edu/registrar/pdfs/bac_app.pdf . Do NOT sign your name until we meet. I have provided examples for completing the paperwork for Social Studies Broadfield, General Science Broadfield, Elementary Education and 2nd degree students in the screencast. If you have questions, feel free to contact us in the Education Advising Center.

3. If you are pursuing an option or teaching minor, please complete the appropriate forms (please type) on the following link: http://www.montana.edu/registrar/?10#top10 .  Do NOT sign your name until we meet. If the teaching minor is from a department other than education, you will need to meet with the advisor in that specific department in order to confirm the coursework and obtain the required signature.
4. Bring the completed forms to your appointment.
