Larry Baker, Ed. D. (Montana State University)
Adjunct Associate Professor
Associate Dean for Student Success
College of Education, Health and Human Development

Dr. Baker's expertise is in the areas of higher education law and management. As an adjunct faculty member in the Adult and Higher Education Program, Dr. Baker teaches the law and policy course. As Associate Dean for Student Success in the College of Education, Health and Human Development, he is a member of the College's Management Team, works with students majoring in programs offered by the College, and facilitates College initiatives with the University's Central Administration. Dr. Baker has served as Dean of the College of Education, Health and Human Development. Art Bangert, Ed.D.(University of South Dakota)
Assistant Professor

Dr. Art Bangert is an Assistant Professor in the Adult and Higher Education Department. He earned his Ed.D in Research and Evaluation from the University of South Dakota in 1995. Dr. Bangert has extensive experience in the public schools where he served as a science teacher, guidance counselor, school psychologist and director of assessment. His research interests include evaluation of online teaching and methods for teaching educational assessment techniques for preservice teachers. Marilyn Lockhart, Ed. D. (University of Virginia)
Associate Professor, Program Leader

Dr. Lockhart was selected from a national search to begin her faculty career at MSU in the fall of 1998. Prior to coming to MSU, she served in a number of administrative positions at the University of Virginia that involved the management and training of support personnel campus-wide. Her academic areas of expertise and her experience include adult education and higher education administration. Dr. Lockhart is an expert at process simplification, directing a number of processes within UVA's central administration.
