Where is my Money?
If you are unsure why you haven't received
your money, check and confirm that you have completed the following tasks:
- Have
you been officially admitted to the university?
- Have
you registered for classes?
- Have
you returned your signed award letter?
- Have
you completed promissory notes for each loan you have accepted?
- Have
you completed entrance counseling via the web or paper version?
- Have
you confirmed your bill with the Student Accounts Office?
Remember to make sure that all of your paperwork is in so that your money
posts to your student account on time. Once we have all of the needed
paperwork here at the Financial Aid Office, your money will post over
to your student account at the Student Accounts Office. Note: Your
money will post over to your student account when Financial Aid disbursements
are allowed for that semester.
Please Note! One of the most common errors is the failure to confirm
your bill. By confirming your bill at the Student
Accounts Office you are confirming that you understand the charges, your
aid, and that you will be attending.
You can confirm your bill from the Web Bill Summary on My
Info under Student Services / Student Records. You can also
confirm your attendance by emailing the Student Accounts office at
studentaccounts@montana.edu,
by faxing the Student Accounts office at 406.994.1954,
or in person at the Cashier's window or Controller's Office in room 102 Montana Hall.
