Regional Manager Doug Lobaugh (406-750-6046) can be contacted for more information regarding any details of the academies. All Academies are NFPA compliant and upon successful completion of the repective academy, certificates will be issued to each participant.

Confined Space Rescue
Kalispell, MT February 2013
The entire course will be held inside at Kalispell Fire Station 2. Tuition cost is $TBA for in MT fire department members, and $TBA for non FD members and out of state participants.

Swiftwater Rescue
Livingston, MT May 2013
This course satisfies NFPA 1006 Technical Rescue for Swiftwater Rescuer. Training Portions will be at various locations on the Yellowstone River and around Livingston during high water. Tuition cost is $TBA for in MT fire department members, and $TBA for non FD members and out of state participants. which includes Lunch, Handouts and/ or any pre-course materials. It is recommended you bring your own (department) equipment. However, rental equipment from private business rentals is available and contact info will be provided upon request if you wish to rent. You MUST be a capable swimmer to participate in this course. Non compliance of this requirement will be obvious by Saturday morning.

Rope Rescue

Includes Personal Rigging, Single Line Technique, Low Angle, High Angle, and Highlines Meets NFPA Requirements of 1006 and 1670 Technician Level
