Technical Rescue Academies

Confined Space Rescue in Kalispell, MT February 1st - 5th 2012

The entire course will be held inside at Kalispell Fire Station 2. Tuition cost is $630 for in MT fire department members, and $1008 for non FD members and out of state participants.

Swiftwater Rescue will be held in Livingston, MT May 18th-20th 2012.

This course satisfies NFPA 1006 Technical Rescue for Swiftwater Rescuer. Training Portions will be at various locations on the Yellowstone River and around Livingston during high water. Tuition cost is $265 for in MT fire department members, and $424 for non FD members and out of state participants. which includes Lunch, Handouts and/ or any pre-course materials. It is recommended you bring your own (department) equipment. However, rental equipment from private business rentals is available and contact info will be provided upon request if you wish to rent. You MUST be a capable swimmer to participate in this course. Non compliance of this requirement will be obvious by Saturday morning.

Rope Rescue will be held Livingston July 26-29 2012.

Includes Personal Rigging, Single Line Technique, Low Angle, High Angle, and Highlines Meets NFPA Requirements of 1006 and 1670 Technician Level
Tuition is $290/$464 Out of State - Non MT FD. Includes Materials and Lunches Practical Portions to be completed at the Allen Spur Climbing Area Sough of Livingston and West Fork drainage of Mill Creek
