I have seen people do a humde the well and good. Prayer for someone in your family or other people for health, mental oppression or spiritual. You may fast 1 day 2, 3 or 4th I believe this is the case of someone in the immediate family in need of help or for all the people. You can do this as a pipe carrier, it is more demanding. Spirituality has to have a deep meaning to you.

One day you will be given a bundle (a pipe wrapped in red cloth with sage wrapped around it) by people prominent in Indian Religion. With this you have to prepare yourself. Learn how to use the colors (flags), tobacco ties, songs, sage, sweat lodge.

Spiritual grandfathers will give you a song, and this song you will remember the rest of your life. You sing this only for your humde one to four days. At no other time you use this song.

As a true pipe carrier you need to humbde for your spiritual messages, and forever praying for people in order for you to handle spiritual matters. First you are going to be challenged. Spiritual grandfathers will decide in your daily walk, your work & how you conduct yourself towards other people in the community you live in, and to other places in your travels.

You will be challenged greatly and if you withstand the challenge, messages will trustfully be given to you for your people.
