MSU Extended University

Many of the courses available through Extended University (EU) can be viewed through the online Schedule of Classes available in My Info. In addition, courses offered through Extended University will have section numbers of 801-899 (e.g. NUTR 221CS-801).

Students who wish to register for Extended University courses must register through the EU Academic Credit Courses web page, found at eu.montana.edu/credit. At this page, students should click on the course they wish to register for, read the course description and click on the "Register Here" link, which will take the student through the online Registration process. EU courses must be dropped through EU using their online drop form and not through My Info or the Registrar's office. The EU drop form can be found on the Extended University Credit Course Administrative Policies web page at http://eu.montana.edu/credit/policy.htm.

More detailed information about Extended University can be found on their web page: http://eu.montana.edu.

ONLINE COURSES

Students can find a listing of fully online courses through the Schedule of Classes in My Info. When searching for online courses, students should select "Online" under course type. A full listing of current online courses (including undergraduate and graduate level courses) is also available through Extended University's Montana State Online, which can be found at http://btc.montana.edu/courses/aspx/online.aspx.

DESIRE2LEARN

Many courses on campus will have a web-enhanced component offered through MSU's online learning management system, Desire2Learn (D2L). Students who have never logged into D2L should visit the D2L Password Information page for more information, which can be found at http://eu.montana.edu/btc/tlt/support/D2L/password/.

Students can log into D2L by going to http://ecat.montana.edu. A course will only be visible to the student if the instructor has made it active; thus not all of a students' classes may be listed.

Support Resources for Desire2Learn can be found at http://eu.montana.edu/btc/tlt/support/D2L/
