PEERS AND FACILITATORS

First Year Seminar

Peer Leaders and Facilitators are an integral component of the Seminar.  Peer Leaders work closely with faculty to enhance the academic, cultural and social experiences of students in the First Year Seminar course (US 101).

Peer Leaders participate in all instructional activities involved in the First Year Seminar and are provided with an opportunity to develop important leadership and mentoring skills.  Peer Leaders for US 101 courses can register for US 460 and receive 3 credits.

If you would like more information about US 460, please e-mail the coordinator, Nora Smith.
