CPR/First Aid
ADULT CPR/AED
American Red Cross certification course for Adult CPR and AED training.
Session Dates:

For Adult CPR/AED:
September 5, October 9 and November 12 (all 5:30pm till 7:30pm)
For First Aid:
September 6, October 10 and November 12 (all 5:30-7:30pm)
Cost: $55 for one or $85 for both
Location: Rec. Sport Center - conference room

Dance
BALLROOM DANCING - WALTZ/FOX TROT
This course will teach you the basic steps for the waltz and fox trot. Each class you will learn new steps and be able to practice them during the second part of the class. The inspiring music, easy and fun dance patterns are entertaining and will have participants dancing in no-time!
*No experience necessary and you can sign-up individually or as a couple. Maximum of 10 couples.
Session Dates: October 23 - December 4 (6 weeks)

ARGENTINE TANGO
This 6-week course will provide a solid introduction to the basic elements, style, and movements of Argentine Tango. Connection, musicality, positive leader-follower dynamics, and basic tango vocabulary will be taught, with each lesson building on the last. By the end of the course, students will have a strong foundation upon which more advanced instruction and practice can be built, and should feel confident to explore social dance. Come join us and discover the magic that is Argentine Tango! Session Dates: October 23 - December 4 (6 weeks)

HIP HOP DANCE ROUTINE
Want to learn how to dance like the professionals? Come join Hip Hop Dance Routine. This is a great class for all levels. You will learn several varieties of hip hop moves as well as various styles of hip hop dance. At the end of the class you will have learned several mini routines that could make a complete dance routine.

WESTERN DANCING - TWO-STEP, JITTERBUG
This course will teach you the basic steps for the Two-Step and Jitterbug. Each class you will learn new steps and be able to practice them during the second part of the class. Kids Cats: Sports Program and Swim Lessons
Sports Program: Saturdays 9-10am

It's a great time to bring your kids in to learn sport-skills while you workout! Sports will include Soccer, Frisbee/flag football, field day activities, and more.
*Kids must be 5-10 years old.
Cost: $35 per session
Or **$65 for both sport and swim sessions

Kids Cats Swim Lessons: Saturdays 10:00am-11:00am, $35 per session (5 weeks)

Swim lessons are for any skill level and kids will learn skills such as breathing floating and beginning strokes.

Martial Arts
AIKIDO
Aikido is a modern Japanese martial art that employs grappling, throws and principles of non-resistance to subdue attacks. Aikido's literal translation is "The Art of Peace". Students will learn a basic set of fundamental techniques applied to an array of different attacks. Emphasis will also be put on receiving techniques, and Aikido's history and modern context.
*Maximum 10 participants, minimum 4.

SELF DEFENSE
The goal of this course is to share the tools required for people to recognize and avoid dangerous situations, manage themselves in confrontational situations, and survive life-threatening encounters.

Mind/Body
RESTORATIVE YOGA
Taught by our own, Linda Brawner! A remedy to stress is total relaxation. Restorative yoga focuses on relaxation, renewal, and ease.

Rock Climbing/Bouldering
INTRO TO ROCK CLIMBING
The Introduction to Rock Climbing course is for anyone new to the sport of climbing to learn the skills needed for basic rock climbing. Understand the fundamentals of gym climbing, bouldering, and top roping. This course will also teach you the basic techniques in footwork, body positioning, safely top rope belay and all applicable knots associated with roped climbing.
Session Dates: September 18 - October 11 (4 weeks)
Times: Tuesdays and Thursdays 2:00pm-3:00pm

INTERMEDIATE BOULDERING AND TRAINING
Intermediate Bouldering is a course designed to push ones bouldering limits and is well suited for those you have boulder on a regular basis at the V1 to V3 level. Goals of this course include: begin training for and preparing to bouldering at a more difficult level, increase bouldering strength and climbing technique, understanding the mental aspect of working projects.
Session Dates: October 16 - November 13 (4 weeks)
Times: Tuesdays and Thursdays 2:00pm-3:00pm

Sport Skills
TENNIS CHILD/PARENT CLINIC (Ages 6-9)
Take time to play with your child this Spring while enjoying an excellent way to have fun and get fit! In this 5 week clinic you will learn tennis with your child.
*Participation by one adult per child is required.

SKI/SNOWBOARD CONDITIONING
Let it snow!! Get in shape for ski and snowboard season. This course incorporates sport-specific agility, balance training, and core work needed to keep you light on your feet, on your skis/snowboard, and more efficient with your movement. Also, we will include strength training exercises targeting the legs so you'll be more ready for that end-of-the-run leg burn!

Strength, Agility, Balance
OLYMPIC LIFTING *NEW!!
Our certified personal trainer and certified olympic lifting instructor, Kevin Erickson, will teach you the professions of the Clean, the Snatch, and the Jerk. Plus you'll get to use our new Functional Training Room!

Swimming
BEGINNING SWIM LESSONS
This class is designed for those with little or no swimming skills. A goal for this class is to be able to swim a length of the pool (25 yards) and feel comfortable in deep water. Safety skills and the development of basic strokes for distance swimming are stressed. Individuals can enjoy the water while becoming prepared for advanced activities around the water

SWIM STROKE TECHNIQUE CLINIC
These Adult clinics will be design to satisfy your goals of becoming a better swimmer be it for laps, cardiovascular conditioning or a general work out. The swimming technique assistance can also help you improve your swim time for a triathlon or conquer your fear of the deep water.
