Computing Resources Available to Students
Central Computer Accounts
Before you can use email in the student computer labs, you must create
an account on the mainframe computer known as Trex2.
Every registered student is automatically given a central computer
account to be used for electronic mail, a personal home page and other
purposes. This account remains active as long as you are a
registered student, including the summer semester. Instructions on how
activate your account are available on the
web and
also as handouts in the student computer labs.
Once your account is created, you can set up your mailbox to send and
receive email. The mail program that is used in the student labs is
Eudora Light. The procedures are located on the web and in
handouts
in the student labs.
User Support
Associates (USA's) are available to help you in Reid 306 and
Roberts 110.
