Secure File Services Request Page

The secure file server is available for storage and sharing of documents containing sensitive information. Examples of sensitive information include personally identifiable information such as student records, personnel records, Social Security Numbers, or credit card transaction information.

Access to this service is available to all MSU departments and obtained through this form. You will be required to provide the following information:

• Your contact information
• A brief description of the data you wish to store ("student records", "payroll reports", etc)
• The file types (".doc", "Excel Spreadsheets", "PDF", etc)
• An estimate of the total amount of data you will be storing
• The name of the folder (or folders) you wish to have created.
• The names of the users you wish to have access to the folder (or folders).
• How long you will need this folder to be in place? This can be any length of time including indefinite.
