Conference Depot

Conference Depot offers discounted prices for MSU employees for conferencing features. The program is called On-Demand Plus.

On-Demand Plus is a versatile, full featured audio conferencing service that requires no reservations and is completely automated (you must be registered and have an account). It is perfect for both scheduled and unscheduled meetings and can accommodate up to 125 participants. By dialing into an 800 number and conference Room Number that never changes, people can become used to the same procedure every time.

A conference requires a moderator, who will activate the conference call. No admission is allowed until the moderator joins. A call can even continue after the moderator exits the call!

Easy Record & Playback

Any conference call can be recorded and stored for archival purposes. Those who were unable to attend or want to review the call can easily playback the conference call at any time.

Security

Is security an issue for your organization? Conference Depot offers features such as Lock and un-lock conferences, Name announced or tone on participant entry, Mute and un-mute lines, and secure and redundant network architecture.

Billing

When your account is set up, a mailing address is needed for billing purposes. However, with Conference Depot, a report is emailed to the contact person immediately following the conference, listing all participant phone numbers and usage.

Rates

Conference Depot has special discounted rates set up for being an employee at MSU. For toll free calls, it is .09 cents a minute. Each department receives their individual bill, is assigned a toll free number, a room number (7-digit number), and a 4-digit pin to activate the conference.
