Headsets and Accessories
Telephone Services has a variety of headsets you can choose from. We have catalogs you may look at to assist you in
deciding. We can show you the most popular headsets we have found to work best.
Telephone Services does not suggest you purchase your own headset from a local retail store (Ex: Radio Shack) because
most headsets for sale are analog. If your phone is digital, you will also
need to purchase an analog adaptor, or pay for your line to be switched to analog and purchase
a new analog telephone set. This can get expensive for some departments.
The most important reason we do not support this option is because your equipment will not be
supported by our maintenance agreement. If your telephone set or line begins to develop problems
and we find those are due to the headset you purchased, you will be responsible for the repair
of the equipment.
Cordless phones are also not supported by our maintenance agreement, but again, we do have
catalogs to assist you with making a purchase.
Keep in mind, if you decide to purchase a cordless phone from a retailer, the phone needs to be
at least 900 MHz. Most cordless phones are analog, unless specifically ordered (we can do this!),
so again, you would have the additional charges of changing your phone line back to analog (if it
currently is digital).
Telephone Services also can order a variety of accessories. A Telephone & Network Service
Request Form is required for all orders. You may complete the TNSR online.
