New Hire for Communications
Wiring
Communication Wiring
has hired Cindy Tirrell as the new Program Coordinator. Cindy will be maintaining the
Communication Wiring webpage, http://www.montana.edu/telephone/comm.wiring.html,
which lists current and new wiring jobs around campus and is updated weekly.
Cindy will also be
conducting estimates and consultations on various wiring jobs around
campus. She will be the primary
customer service contact person for network changes or new jack
installations.
In an effort to update
our maps with the current locations of all jacks on campus, Cindy will be making
her way through each building to physically survey each room. She will notify Telephone Coordinators
when she will be in their area so they can get the word out on what she is
doing.

Campus Directory
Updates
The printing of the
2005-2006 campus directories will be taking place shortly and updates are needed
for the directory.
We began mailing out
copies of the online directory today, July 22, to each Telephone Coordinator.
The deadline to return these is no later than Thursday, August 4, 2005. Updates
received after this date will not be guaranteed to be in the directory. This
deadline is given so we can make any formatting changes necessary prior to
sending it to print.
Index Number Changes
If your department has
index numbers that ended June 30, 2005, and telephone charges are affected by
this, please notify Chris of the changes no later than Wednesday, July 27, so
these new charge numbers can be entered for July.

include the phone numbers and current index number, and what index number it is
changing to.
