A 'How-to guide' for post-conflict area travel
Tuesday, October 21, 2008
12:00 – 1:00 pm in MSU Strand Union Building, Room 232
Do you think that travel to war-torn regions is unattainable?
Join with our panel of daring travelers as they discuss with us, the cultural
sensitivities brought on by war, help us to gain an understanding of the
psychological state the members of a post conflict area experience, and the
impact that tourism may have on these areas economically and otherwise. These
headlining countries may be recovering from a dark past, but is travel a real
option? For more information, contact the Leadership Institute at 994-7275.
