Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship

DESCRIPTION: The scholarship provides up to $7,500 per year for educational expenses to sophomores and juniors who intend to pursue a degree in mathematics, the natural sciences, or engineering. The foundation seeks students in mathematics or the sciences, display intellectual curiosity and intensity; and possess potential for significant future contributions in their chosen field.

DESCRIPTION: A competitive program that places college students with disabilities in fulfilling summer internships and provides them with leadership development opportunities. German Chancellor Scholarships

DESCRIPTION: The sponsor provides up to ten Fellowships to young U.S. citizens from any profession or field of study who show outstanding potential for future leadership. The program provides for a stay of one year in Germany for professional development, study or research.

Harry S. Truman Scholarship

DESCRIPTION: The scholarship provides up to $30,000 in funding to students pursing graduate degrees in public service fields. The foundation also provides assistance with career counseling, internship placement, graduate school admissions, and professional development.

Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi

DESCRIPTION: The honor society awards sixty Fellowships of $5,000 each and forty Awards of Excellence of $2,000 each to members entering the first year of graduate or professional study. Recipients will also receive a one-year membership into the Society.

Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship

DESCRIPTION: The program awards approximately 65 scholarships to seniors and recent graduates planning to attend graduate school for the first time starting in the fall. Each award covers a portion of educational expenses, including tuition, living expenses, required fees, and books for the graduate degree chosen.

Lori Rhett Memorial Scholarship

DESCRIPTION: The scholarship was created to recognize the achievements of undergraduate or graduate student leaders enrolled in colleges and universities located in the former NACA Pacific Northwest Region. Selection is made in the summer.

Marshall Scholarships

DESCRIPTION: Open only to US citizens who hold a first degree from an accredited four-year college or university in the US. At least 40 scholarships are awarded annually.

Morris K. Udall Undergraduate Scholarships

DESCRIPTION: The foundation awards scholarships of up to $5,000 to students who have demonstrated commitment to careers related to the environment or to Native American and Alaska Native students who have demonstrated commitment to careers related to tribal public policy or to Native American and Alaska Native students who have demonstrated commitment to careers related to Native health care.

Oxford and the Rhodes Scholarships

DESCRIPTION: Scholars are elected for two years of study at the University of Oxford with the possibility of renewal for a third year. There is no restriction as to the field of academic specialization or career plans although the proposed course of study must be available at Oxford.

Phillips Foundation

DESCRIPTION: Renewable scholarships to college undergraduates who demonstrate leadership on behalf of the cause of freedom, American values and constitutional principles. The program seeks to recognize outstanding young people who are promoting American values on college campuses.

Presidential Scholarship � MSU

DESCRIPTION: Recognizes academic achievement as well as special personal qualities for prestigious freshman. If the required academic standards are maintained, the scholarship may be renewed for four years. The scholars also receive admission to the Honors Program.
