Montana Municipal Elected Officials Workshop
The Montana Municipal Elected Officials Workshop is designed to help mayors and council/commission members learn about their roles
and responsibilities as elected officials, to keep updated on new and emerging issues and opportunities
of importance to local governance, and to enhance their capacity to serve effectively, professionally and
efficiently in municipal government.
The workshop is held annually in conjunction with the Montana Municipal Institute for Clerks, Treasurers, & Finance
Officers and the Jim Tillotson Service Program for city attorneys. Associating the program
with these events allows for interaction between city attorneys and officials of both the executive and legislative branches of local government.
