Dressing in Space
Astronauts wear clothing with many pockets. Every pocket has zippers or
Velcro to keep the pocket closed so that objects can not drift off
inside the cabin. Floating objects can be dangerous.
Mission:
Learn why astronauts need to close their pockets in space.
Experiment:
Step 1.
Put on the space vest.
Step 2.
Open all of the pockets and load as many objects as you can.
Step 3.
Take off the shirt and shake.
