| In 1900 Standards were ever here. Here is one of the first engines to arrive at Stuart (now Kooskia) Idaho. Sort of a family affair. Engineer John Warren first worked for NP on the Missouri River Bridge at Mandan in 1880 and then came west to enter engine service on the Idaho Division. The young boy in the picture, Jack, retired after 45 years as brakeman and conductor on the same division. |
