Class F-4 (92-94) 2-8-0 Consolidation. Total built 3. Grant Locomotive Works, 1887.

NP 93, Wallace, Idaho, Sept. 1916. This engine was originally No. 152 of the Montana Union Railroad which operated out of Butte. When NP took over, the 152 was renumbered to 136, then 111 and finally 93. The 93 was in work train service when the double track was built between Garrison and Missoula. Then it was assigned to the Wallace branch where it did everything--hauled passenger trains to Burke and St. Regis, helped trains over Lookout Pass, switched in Wallace mining district, and pushed rotary snowplows.
