| Thirty years later, Mr. Iles' glass plate negatives were found buried in the record rooms at Como. Many were broken and others hypo stained to the point where prints could not be made. We worked several months on the remainder, washing and cleaning off flaked opaque and the thick accumulation of dirt. Several prints from the glass plates are used in this book. The 692, above, was spotted for Mr. Iles at Parkwater September 30, 1916. |
