| Most steam engineers will tell you there was no such engine as a 1400 on the NP. And with good reason as they were seldon seen and didn't last long. Crossover compounds, they worked on the St. Paul, Lake Superior and Fargo Divisions but were gone by 1925. A few were sold to the Minnesota & International and two were still in the Bemidji deadline in 1932. |
