Indian Peoples of the Northern Great Plains - A searchable online photograph database created with grant support from the Institute of Museum and Library Services National Leadership Grant Program. Images were digitized and drawn from the library collections of three of the Montana State University campuses ( Bozeman, Billings, and Havre), the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, and Little Big Horn College in Crow Agency, Montana. The applicant partnership was between Montana State University Libraries and the Museum of the Rockies.

The Ron V. Nixon Railroad Photography Collection - This site is dedicated to providing research access to the Ron V. Nixon Railroad Photography Collection at the Museum of the Rockies Photo Archive. From 1916 to his death in 1989, Ron V. Nixon created a unique collection of over 20,000 photographs documenting the Northern Pacific Railway and several other northwestern railroads. Completed with funding assistance from the North American Railway Foundation (NARF), the database is searchable by locomotive number, subject, location, date, photographer and railroad.

Other Museum Resources Online - The Museum is dedicated to providing increased online access to collection resources. A National Endowment for the Humanities grant project supported the cataloging and image documentation of our signifacant textiles collection. This project resulted in an online exhibition of selected collections as well as a searchable database providing access to images and catalog data for over 3,000 collection items.
